Advanced Level Course for teachers and SLP professionals wishing to become Trans Voice Coaches
Note: Student wishing to become a Trans Voice Lab certified teacher is recommended to have completed an undergraduate or graduate degree in vocal performance, voice education, SLP or any related degree in voice. This program is an advanced course and is NOT for beginners with no prior vocal experiences.
Application Process
To ensure prospective students have the prerequiste knowledge to succeed in the program, we require a simple application
1. Fill out the application form with your personal information, a professional resume and a brief description of your experience and qualifications.
2. If accepted, you will receive an invitation for an online interview. Use the schedule to find an availability.
3. During the 30 min interview, you will have the opportunity to share your experience as a teacher, SLP or what your qualifications are if you don't have any of those experience.
4. We will notify you if you are qualified for the program and send you a link for lesson sign ups.

FAQ
This program is ideal for vocal coaches, speech-language pathologists (SLPs), singing teachers, and voice professionals who want to specialize in gender-affirming voice training with a functional, science-based approach.
A student's eligibility is dependent on their previous experience as an educator. The program is highly technical. While not required, we recommend the program for students who already have some experience in voice as a teacher or as an SLP. However, if you believe you are qualified for the program without the previously mentioned experience, we also encourage you to participate.
Lessons are conducted based on the student's availability. With the minimum of each lesson no longer than 1 week apart.
Both! You’ll learn vocal theory and technique AND participate in supervised practicum sessions working with real students, plus shadow experienced trainers.
